In late December we received a call from the breeder of our Blue Roan Stallion.  He was in a real bad situation with his wife having physical problems and him not being able to work because of their horses in his care.  Along with Heather Dawson, we were able to place all of his horses in homes.  Eight went to AZ, two to KY, Heather rescued 3 and we took home five.  All horses were 100 or more pounds underweight, except the three foals we took home.  Below are the five horses we brought home.

With Ken arriving home from Iraq in July 07, we decided to take a vacation to KY and TN to pick up our newly purchased Bay Masquerading mare Magnolia Masquerading.  We had her boarded with Heather Dawson of Dawson Stables in hopes to get her in foal to the magnificent Ebony's Bearcat, a direct son of Ebony Masterpiece WGC out of a direct daughter of Triple Threat WGC.  We decided to attend a sale being held in TN and bought two beautiful Sorrel mares,  We also picked up a black gelding near Bowling Green.  We visited Jerry Swift's place and all I can say is WOW!  He has a wonderful herd of horses.  There we picked up a Sabino Sorrel filly, a black and white filly and a wonderful black mare.  Our last trip was to TN to pick up our new Blue Roan Stallion.  All horses are shown below.
