A true gift from god
Sandy's words about her loving Doogie
** Doogie, a very special German Shepherd, came into our lives in April of 2001. He immediately became my constant companion, my shadow. He was the sweet soul that would teach my friend just what it was like to love a dog, to know that understanding, special affection and caring that one can only get from that love affair we have with dogs. Doogie was kind, loving, soft and fuzzy, and fluffy, but ready to defend us in a heartbeat. He was the most sensitive and intelligent dog we ever met. He was completely heartbroken when the love of his life, Jessica (AKA Summer Winds Desert Rose) passed. He never went anywhere that he wasn’t complimented on his manners and handsome face. His pride and regal carriage were an obvious reflection of his championship bloodlines, but to us he was our little boy. Our time together was far to short. We miss him, we love him and I know we’ll meet again on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Beautiful Raven was born with a problem in her front lets and elbows. It had progressed to the point that she could hardly walk. We had high hopes for this beautiful mare.
Rest in Peace beautiful Raven.

Breeze was loved by our very good friend, Hugh Wahler. We are so very sorry for your loss of such a wonderful girl. She is up in doggie heaven playing with her soccer balls of yesteryear. I am glad she had you as an owner, she was always happy go lucky. I hope they have a pool in doggie heaven. We are so very sorry for you loss.

Bob was the lost child of our family. Things would go wrong for him and he turned to Alcohol to find himself. He also had severe rheumatoid arthritis. His life style which included heavy smoking made his health worsen. When Bob lived in No. CA where he loved to fish everyday. In So. CA he lost his desire for fishing.
Bob, rest in peace, we love and miss you

Summer Wind's Gypsy
aka "Jessica"
3/08/93 - 6/14/04

Summer Wind's Infiniti x Summer Wind's Desert Rose
Jessica was loved by The Munz Family, Paul, Sandra, Michael and his girlfriend Kellie and most of all, DOOGIE, Summer Wind's Ice House (pictured below with Jess)

Jess's start in life was a hard one. Her mother, Summer Wind's Desert Rose, Allie, was very special to us. We co-owned her with what we thought to be a very good home. She was bred to Marvin without our knowledge. We received a call from the co-owner's wife letting us know that the puppies were born. The next day we drove two hours to see the puppies. The husband was out of town and the wife had the puppies out on the driveway. Allie was in horrible condition so we rushed her and the puppies to the vet. The vet instructed us to take the puppies home and hand feed them. Later that day, Allie passed away at the young age to three. We (Ken, Miriam myself and even my brother) worked around the clock trying to keep the litter alive. Four puppies out of nine survived. Jess will always be very special to us and truly missed. We are so glad she ended up in the best home she could possibly have.

It is with great sadness that we lost the most beautiful TWH we have ever laid eyes on. She passed over the bridge 9/13/03. Her life was only just beginning. Its a very hard thing to say goodbye to one you loved so much. She is resting now, free from her pain. Thank you Kay and Brad Clark, Jodi, Sharon and Dr. Lucinda for all you did to try and save her.
