Push is an exciting mare to ride and one of the most beautiful mares we have seen. She is a been there done that mare, however, she is a little bit challenging so we recommend a confident rider. She is a very sweet and kind mare and loves to run with the gang. She was neglected (not abused) the first year and a half of her life which caused her to have a weak tendon in her back left leg (the one with the white sock). To add insult to injury, she hurt the fetlock which caused a bump on the outside which makes her leg look worse. There is absolutely no pain, limp, or being held back from her leg. We purchased an expensive pair of splint boots for her to make it not look bad to us (it does not bother her with it on or off). Our Farrier, Mike Wright told us that there is a Champion Quarter Horse in our area that has the same situation and has had it since he was young. He earned all his records with his leg in the same condition and now is in his late 20's. Because of this situation her price is $2,500.00. Gary, the man we bought her from said we should price her at $3,500 to $4,000. If you are interested, we can take video of her with and without the boot on.
