WOW!  Have you ever wondered "Why me, Why Now"!  Well, we had a couple firsts.  First time we attended the Celebration (2005), first time we attended a TWH sale.  As we sat at the Wiser Sales in Tennessee the beginning of September we watched all the whoop-la, people standing on the backs of horses while ridding them to get more money, jumping on and off while in motion and more.  Awed at all this, in comes a nice looking black mare.  Ken jumped in on the bidding.  I was not paying attention when the auctioneer shouted SOLD!  I asked him what did you do?  Well, what he did was buy the most exciting mare on our place.  Sweet as the day is long and can move like the wind.  After we got her home we did our homework on where she came from and what has happened in her life.  She was in training at The Horse House, Carl Bledsoe, Manager and Trainer in Ball Ground, GA.  A couple of cured injuries held her back from the show ring so her owner, Jimmy Meyers cut his losses.  His loss is our gain.

We anticipated a beautiful foal from Phred and Push's Champagne Prism and he arrived with First Class Movement. Unfortunately when he was two months old he broke his leg in a freak training session.  Phred's pedigree should impress you.  Her mother is a direct daughter of Pride of Midnight and her grandmother is a direct daughter of Go Boy's Sun Dust WGC.  Carl Bledsoe informed us that Phred is very much like Go Boy's Sun Dust.  Her daddy was the great Black Vengeance, an absolutely fabulous producing stallion.  His daughter are producing very talented foals.  

Our excitement lies with her next foal.  Phred was bred to Ebony's Blue Carbon SW and is due September 1, 2009.  With the movement she produced with Prism this foal should be off the charts.  Blue is a perfect match for heavy bred Pride mares as he has not Pride.
