Lucy is sired by the great Armed and Dangerous out of a Johnny Cash mare. Johnny Cash was a great show horse producing some of this industries greatest producing mares. Being that she is double bred Johnny Cash we expect great foals from her. She is by far the darkest Liver Chestnut we have ever seen and to top it off, she looks to be carrying silver in her mane and tail. Wouldn't it be a kick in the seat if she carried the silver dapple gene. When we purchased Lucy, we were told she had extensive trail ridding along with being trained as a show mare. We have not rode her to see what her capabilities are so we are selling her as a brood mare. She does not like being caught but once in a halter, she is a perfect mare. She trailers, stands for the Ferrier and enjoys being groomed. We spoke to her breeder and he informed us she has always disliked being caught but never gave any problems once haltered. He also informed us that her first foal in one fantastic stud colt.
