Ebony's Blue Carbon SW X Black Vengeance Queen

Phred, Black Vengeance Queen has been a surprise to us from the day we bought her.  We bought her at a Celebration Auction in 2005 for next to nothing as no one but a ringer would bid on her.  Ken saw something in her that no one else did.  On the way back to AZ we endured a trailer accident which rolled our trailer and she came out of it with a couple scratches.  The only thing that died that night was the trailer.  Gotta love those West Memphis, Arkansas roads.  Now she has surprised us with a Beautiful Solid Black Stud Colt.  We bred her last year and she was confirmed in foal.  In March this year she was vet checked not in foal so we did nothing special for her.  Saturday we were awaken by a neighbor telling us that there is a black mare with a black colt at her side really close to our pond and she was worried the colt might fall in.  We rushed down the hill only to find Phred with her new son.  He is one awesome black stud colt.  Check out the pictures, I think you will agree.

What more can you ask from a 10 hour old colt.  He has a good chance to be Homozygous Black.  Now that you are impressed, take a look at his pedigree.
